Come and enjoy a smaller ride with great staff and tons of fun! Cruise the flat to rolling terrain along the 2-day route in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
We keep the level of enthusiasm and enjoyment way up!
The CBC Ride is AUGUST 7th and 8th 2010
Rest stops will be about every 10-15 miles. We will have support vehicles (SAG) traveling the route if transportation is required. Friendly volunteers will greet you at every rest stop with smiles, nourishment and fluids.
Route to be announced but the ride will be over a two-day period.
We will work hard with compassion, courage and strength. We will be
full grown, horn on our heads, full of enthusiasm to electrify every
cell in our large beautiful body and ready to take Charge of the
Day, RHINOS ! As Rhinos we will always have the never give up attitude
with the resolve to never settle to be just a cow or a sleep and graze
by the roadside... We are a full speed ahead and focused on the good
of the Camp, We are "Born with Horns" and we can do this!
All riders must wear a helmet. No exceptions! It's your head, but it's our ride. This event will take place, rain or shine.
What are the expectations of participants?
* Participants should prepare themselves physically for their intended route distance.
* Participants should have their bicycles in good mechanical condition before arriving.
* Participants should carry a spare tube and a bicycle pump on their bicycles.
* Participants should know how to change a flat tire or ride with someone who does.
* Participants should be safe and courteous cyclists.
* Participants should not be litterbugs.
* Participants should obey traffic laws.
* Participants should wear a helmet.
* Participants should most of all HAVE FUN!
